I need to blow the dust off this blog. I have so much to share!

I’m back! I took some time off to deal with some stuff and think about what I wanted. I love writing erotica. I love the humour, the sexy times, and the quiet times between two people who love each other. I love popcorn books as much as anyone, but I find the way they portray “romantic” relationships can be a little iffy. I got into a rut where the stories I was reading for critique seemed to be in a race to see who could make unhealthy relationships into the sexy ideal.

I know romantic love and platonic love are two different things, but I don’t think other than I-get-to-have-sexy-times with the romantic partners there is much difference on the gut level. I’d spent a lot of time writing about guys who were in love going out and solving crimes, but the love for the most part, was the thing that was missing. I hope to start writing books where healthy love is the way out of any situation, but in a way that leaves the soap boxes alone and gets to the heart of what it is to do anything for love.
