Waiting for books five and six was a brilliant suggestion. Though it always pays never to read online kirkus reviews from the amazon website. Seriously, why do they have to post reviews that start, “After Harry comes back from the Horse Shoe Nebula, after defeating Arch Duke von Really Bad Guy, he discovers he’s secretly related to Mouse who can now sing and dance, book x goes on to …”
Is it bad that in RL you want to say “ZOMG, post a spoiler warning, n00b!”
No? Just me? Thought so.
Also read Mr. B. Gone, by Clive Barker. I think I like his books for what they can be, rather than what they actually are. Because if Grover can do your super secret ending better than you can, dude? I’m just saying.
There are perks to being married to a librarian. I can ask for and usually get any book I want. Now, I want to reread There’s a Monster at the End of this Book. (update: The girl says that might be hard to find because it’s a little golden book, and they don’t stand up very well. *sigh*. I’m going on ebay.)
Tired now. I went to bed last night at ten thirty, and I want to sleep just as much tonight. Blah.
