Castoffs was a lot of fun to write, partly because I knew would love it, and it was a present from me to her so that she’d have a book just for her. I love Janus. I love Lyall. I love them together.

Then along came Vision, who I was pretty sure was going to get his own book just shortly after he was introduced in Castoffs. He appealed to me, and it actually took a great deal of effort to keep him as a secondary character.

Right now, I’m just putting the finishing touches on Restitution. In less than 10 months, I’ve written just over 150,000 words to paper, as well as gotten married, moved, and started a new job. It’s been an amazing year, and I’m looking forward to 2007 even more.
